I thought organic was the pinnacle for healthy food....Maybe you do too...
But I was wrong!
I'm embarrassed to admit this, but it's true and it's common....I had no idea that the health of our soil DIRECTLY impacted the health of our food and ultimately...us.
To make things worse, I studied the body, nutrition, and fitness in college and received a bachelors degree in Human Performance. I then became a personal trainer and nutrition coach for 10+ years. I thought organic was the pinnacle for healthy food....Maybe you do too...
But I was wrong!
It was a lightbulb moment for me...When I watched a keynote speech on farming using regenerative agriculture principles, which focuses on building soil health and how that is the determining factor in the nutritional value of our food.
Ironically, typical organic farming is insanely destructive to the soil (due to heavy tillage of the soil) and leaves our food bankrupt of vital NUTRIENTS.
So what's the answer?
Farming in a way that regenerates our soil.
That's why I chose to farm this way. So I could produce healthy and nutrient-dense food.
